Anyone find a simple fur cover I can stick on to the built-in mic on my cannon HF-m41?

I'm noticing some wind in my videos but don't want an external mic added to the camera.

I've never seen one you can attach to the built in mic itself. But I would think a little windsock material and some double sided tape would do the trick.

No but I could modify it to work or they may have something else. Thanks

My mic is underneath the lens.

Check the website. I saw one on there somewhere that had one that went under the lens.

If you want clean audio, an external mic is much better than internal mics.

Google the Rode Video Mic Pro with the dead cat wind muff and check out the reviews.

I use the Rode on my DSLR's for the whitetail and elk hunting films I make.

Just wanted to share an option to make your audio the vest it could be.

    Good luck either way.

Your best bet would be to probably bite the bullet and go with an external mic ( shotgun mic). There omni directional and you don't get near as much wind sound and you get a lot better quality of audio

Not sure I'm ready for that yet. I like it real simple.
