Hey ya'll. I'm just getting into the bow side of hunting this year and need a bit of help. I'm going away from rifle due to the amount of knuckleheads that shoot at anything that moves.

I'm currently shopping bows and think I've narrowed it down to the PSE Stinger 3G. Any thoughts? Also I'm obviously going to need arrows for the hunt and practice as well as broad heads and haven't a clue where to go there or even the size? I am at a 29" /60lb. Any help or advice with getting going would be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to the site!

Now your best bet is to work with your local pro-shop to get the bow and everything you need set up. There are a million threads on most anything you need to know here. Do lots of reading, and then when you need specific answers, ask away. With general questions and tons of answers, you may just get more confused. I did at first and then read tons of threads and figured things out a bit for myself.

Welcome to the site. I would go find a local shop that you like and have them help.

Welcome to the site. I have the Stinger 3G and I like it its a great bow for the money. The strings leave a lot to be desired but should be good for a couple years, just have to rotate the peep til the string is done stretching. As far as getting arrow and all the other goodies check out local pro shops they should be able to help you out the most. I like to stay away from the big box stores, gander mountain cabela's stores like that. Some of the people I have dealt with there don't seem to have a clue. Good luck and happy shooting.
