Well? Im proud to say mine is probably 300+. Disney movies, recorded Packers games from all the way back in 98' (dont tell the NFL), Chicago Bulls games and specials from 97', tv shows.... When i was little, i recorded everything i could. Funny going back and watching it 15 years later...old commercials sucked!!! Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
Siman, like you , I recordered everything I could. I know I have about 80 tapes in a cabinet and many of the tapes have 3 to 4 movies on them. Funny you should bring this up, I was just thinking about dumping all of those self recorded tapes this weekend at the dump. They look crappy when you try to play them on a newer tv, and I can always get them on DVD.
Mine are in 3 of those fake wooden vhs cabinents soread throughout the house. I cant ever get rid of them... Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
I've got around 700. I bought a lot used in boxes off eBay when DVDs came out. Bought a lot of boxes of DVDs later too, and blue rays now up to maybe 150. I've probably only bought a few new and most of the VHS were probably a Buck each, blue rays the boxes maybe averaged 4 or $5 each movie. Staying just behind technology doesn't get so bad on price. I don't have cable or anything so that stuff makes up for that Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
Speaking of such.... anybody want these? Some vintage stuff here. Free if you pay media mail rate shipping. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
I have quite a few. I go back and look at them just to see how much bows, stands and hunting equipment in general has changed over the years.
I have a few doesnt make much sense though seeing as I dont have a vhs player anymore. Maybe this should have been posted in the hoarding thread. Sent from my SGH-T959 using Xparent Green Tapatalk 2
My parents still have a few lying around, but I don't. I took the most important VHS tapes (about 18 VHS and Mini-VHS) that were all home movies and ripped them to DVDs for my mom on Mother's day a few years ago. I highly suggest everyone who wants to retain their VHS footage to do the same:D
Prolly close to 300, most have 3 or 4 movies recorded on them. Can't remember past time actually sat down and watched one though.
I will admit I had every volume of Realtrees Monster Bucks series, up until around 2005. No clue where they are today though.
Alrighty, off to the dumpster they go. I'll hold the hunting ones for you. Be aware that I haven't watched them in many, many years... so I can't guarantee they'll play. Only exception is that I did watch the elk one (works fine). It was amusing seeing all the reflex limb compounds.
I have several hundred VHS tapes. I use things until they break......that's why I didn't get a smart phone until last month. My old flip phone worked great lol.
