I am so ready...13 days away and I finally got the gobble down on down-n-dirty putdoor's haint call. I can't wait to use it in the woods to bring that gobbler in to a nice 12 yard shot with my jathews

I'm ready to thump one. Seeing a flock of about 130 birds got me ready to go. Too bad I have to wait til April.

Drove around the woods yesterday and ran into a flock of about 15 hens and 4 jakes. No long beards spotted yet but I know they'll be near by. I'm counting the days.

Practicing with the Bullheads is easy and can be done with little to no damage to the blades. They come with extra blades for that reason. On top of that they come with a no questions asked lifetime warranty. You damage the broadhead and Magnus will send you a new one free of change.

The way to practice is to use a free hanging pillow. Buy a $5 pillow from your local dollar store and put it in a pillow case (you can buy pillow cases at the dollar store usually 2 for $1). Then hang the pillow by the case in a safe shooting area. Paint a dot on the pillow case as a point of aim and let the Bullheads fly. The free swinging pillow will absorb all of the impact shock and the arrow will simply fall to the ground. Be sure to tighten the screws that hold the blades before every shot, this will minimize any torque effects on the blade to ferrul connection at impact.

    Here are a couple videos.

I wouldnt have thought about a pillow as a target, it seems like it would be a good stop for these broadheads.

Thats not to far from me, about 30-45 minute drive from here. I saw a couple of nice long beards out on the WMA and been seeing a lot of deer signs everywhere out there. So Im set up for turkey and deer.

Never hunted turkey but I watched some guy on TV a month or so ago decapitate a turkey with a broadhead... it was kinda badass.
