Not a big deal to me. But I have seen several guys with earrings that could make any one of you wear a thong if they wanted to. Just sayin.

At one point I had 13 piercings... yes 13 - ears,(multiple in both) septum, labret, bridge of nose and others which I will not mention. I also have many tattoos and had dreadlocks down my back. Then one day I woke up grew up and took em all out. Within a few months I also hacked off my hair. I had many reasons for having them and many for taking them out. Really the piercings for me was all about actually getting pierced, the pain, same with the tattoos. There is something about that type of pain that I found theraputic at that point in my life. But I didnt want to have my first born see his Daddy for the first time lookin like he fell in a tacklebox... Yes that is how I got my nickname. Now when I need therapy I sit in a treestand lol

I can't believe so many people have such derogatory opinions about people with tattoos.
The dumbest argument against them is "what will they look like when you're old" .When you get old, what your tat looks like ia going to be the last thing you care about.

I've always told people "If ya don't like it, don't look at it". So I do the same for everyone else, it's THEIR body so do as you please. They'll regret having huge holes in their ears when their older. I personally have had my ears pierced, then figured out that puttin on a motorcross helmet with them didn't feel all to great an out they came.

    Tattoos are manly.

    Piercings are not.

God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy.

    These are all truth.

    Piercings to me generally mean..

"I like drinking whiskey through a straw"

"I cannot grow a mustache so I hold my finger over its place"

    "I dig dudes"

    and

    "I'm Michael Jordan"

I don't care what anyone does with their body.

Doesn't mean I'm not going to judge you for it.

    Just the truth.

There's really no point in being stupid if you don't get to show it off once in a while.

Some just feel the need advertise it more than others, loud and proud and lost in the crowed.

Thats just not true and i hate this argument. If you get a tattoo with meaning and it has some significance to it then it wont matter when you're older and you shouldnt care how other people view you especially when you're old and "stretched" out. Make it mean something dont just go get drunk tattoos and it will be fine.

No earings for me...but I do have a tat of a 12 point on my left shoulder. I personally don't care or even think about...but I do think those big holes look a little goofy.

I have to agree with this post. A couple of the posts in this thread are just plain ignorant. I have tattoos and I wear an ear ring, but I would never judge any of you for not having them. Why would you judge me? I am not "gay" or "white trash", as far as I'm concerned. And yet some of you would label me as such, without even getting to know me? And you'll still wonder what's wrong with the world.
