that was very funny, but also very unfortunate...it is sad that those places are even in business. with all the great pro shops and great people in this industry...it is a shame that we ever have to deal with the crap that sinks to the bottom of the pond, ya know!
yup, i bought my first mathews there...i got lessons from jim back in the day, when he sold and shot golden eagle...and dustin is also an awesome guy...i live in rittman...not sure if you know where that is, but if i was still shooting mathews...i probably wouldnt go anywhere else but there...but he unfortunately does not sell the brands i shoot now. i have still went there and bought accesories from dusty...great people! i will agree totally!
BK III Wind Lake, WI I've visited a lot of pro-shops. Many shops make you feel like an idiot if you don't know something or have different ideas than them. The guys at BK III are not like that at all. They make you feel welcome and are more than willing to give you advise but also willing to listen to you also. Very good service and good prices too.
I live up in Hudson, but I have an idea of where Rittman is. Yea Jim stops by every once in a while during league nights. He's a character. I'm only 19, so I personally never knew him from the store, but he definitely found a great guy to keep the shop going. Dustin is a great guy; every time i'm in there its a great experience. He sold me my first bow and I'm sure many more to come. If you don't mind me asking why did you switch from Mathews?
T.A.Z. Archery in Woodstock,IL for me. I have been into and bought from other shops and finally found one to call home. I have been going to Tim now for the last 2 years. Thanks for the great service!!!
Awesome shop tackle box! I love the techno hunt and indoor range at diamond archery. Service can be iffy when they're extremely busy, but it's the sign of a good shop when people will line up and wait to get a bow tuned or serviced and keep coming back. In a pinch I also use BB archery in Kansas City. Extremely knowledgeable bow technicians that have been doing it longer than my 27 years on earth. The heartland bowhunter guys hang around there a bit. The shop is nothing special inside or out, but they get the job done perfectly everytime.
i will pm you...as to not get any fanboys all upset and start a big ugly mess on someone elses thread!
Because he dropped his bow in the ground and it broke. Mathews replaced it even tho it was his fault. Evil mathews!! I used to drive ford but they suck. I drove my car into a tree and it broke. I hate ford now.
I've bought 5 bows from these guys in the last year. Not all for me. A couple of the guys in the archery dept really know their stuff and are willing to spend a lot of time making the customer happy. Kittery Trading Post in Kittery Maine. http://www.kitterytradingpost.com/
Ive never taken my bow anywhere but Fin Feather & Fur in Ashland, Ohio. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
DropTine Archery 100 Webb Way Advance, NC Www.droptinearchery.com Robert and Pam Brookman are awesome people. They have this young buck that's pretty alright named Cole Carr who is a hunting and bow fishing nut. They sale Hoyt, BowTech, Prime, Diamond, Quest, PSE, Athens, Parker. They are knowledgeable in target as well as hunting. Robert is a level 2 USA Archery coach and gives private and group lessons. A couple of the high schools hunter safety teams practice at their range on a weekly basis. They have an indoor 20yd, a 10 target 3D course and hold outdoor 3D tournaments every month. It's nice, clean, organized and convenient. I've been going there for a little over 2 years now and try my hardest to purchase everything from their shelves.
