Well the bow is packed, snow gear is ready and rations are prepared. Only thing left to do is brew some hot tea before I leave in the morning. I'm off tomorrow to hunt in the first real snow of MD's late season. Going to try my hand at some snow-tracking & still hunting. I'm just hoping my front-wheel drive can get me there and back without major issue. Wish me luck fellas!

Well this is just a little odd. Radar map shows its snowing yet i don't see any any actual snow lol. No snow makes snow tracking a tad bit difficult...

Well it snowed alright. Tried to make it out around 10am and it was just too slick. I want to hunt and absolutely love hunting in the snow but I don't need to get stuck :(

Gonna be cold and breezy out tomorrow but I'm headed out to try my luck yet again. Probably going to sit morning until mid day or afternoon and maybe take a break then sit till sundown or head home early.

It's gotta be nice to still be hunting for deer. Best of luck to you guys... hope you score.

I've joined a winter indoor archery league again this year... we start in a couple of weeks. Next week I'm gonna bring in my climber and do some shed hunting. I might also break down the ladder stand and clean it up over the winter (sand, powder coat, and purchase new ratchet straps).

Screwed again this morning. Woke up late (alarm was set for 5:30p instead of AM  ) got to the public land spot I wanted to hunt and the same guy that ruined my chance at a nice buck this past fall was parked there. I said forget it and drove home. The guy never hunts with a stand, he just walks around the entire day with his bow as if he's going to just stumble upon a deer or walk up on a bedded deer and have a shot.

There's only 135 acres on this property and the actual forested area is probably 30% of that. Not enough space to hunt while that idiot is out there wandering. I'm just about done with this season altogether.

I finally posted the pics in the score thread. Couldn't get them off my iphone.
I've got until the 20th to get a buck & since we lost our lease our self imposed size restrictions are lifted & it's more about stocking the freezer than QDMA. It will still have to be a 6pt before I shoot but I'm taking whatever I can at this point.

Been awful quiet on this thread.
Any team members been out hunting? I'm going squirrel hunting with my archery equipment. I'll be mentoring a young 14 year old Amish lad hunting with his brand new .22 rifle he got for Christmas.
