Hey guys I'm new to using trail cameras but have already become quite addicted to them, I had 6 of them until one was stolen last week. Ive been reading a lot of good things about coverts here so my question is what is the least expensive IR trail cam covert makes and do you feel the quality is as good as their more expensive cams? I put all my cams out on public land so I cannot justify spending a lot of money on a cam as there is a very good chance it may not be there when I go to get it.

Covert wouldn't put it out if it wasn't high quality!

I had no idea they made a $100 cam. I'll have to look into that one.

I want something like that but a strap type not screw in...cant use screw in on public land here. I never ran cameras on public land but going to start this summer. I been saying I was going to hunt at my cabin for years now but still havent. Its about time I step up and do it.

Thanks Jeff. Unfortunately I had the cam in a lock box with a python lock on it and it was still stolen so whoever it was must have seen it then come back for it with bolt cutters.

If you mean Covert black 60 then yes, I've got three of them. They are awesome cameras. The night pics aren't quite as good as the red 40 night pics but that's the tradeoff for a no glow camera.

The Covert Tree 60 mount gives you the ability to mount your
camera anywhere you can imagine. Angled up or down or to the side
the Tree 60 is a must! Get creative with your setups!

These pictures are from a Covert 3.0 CA which I think is their lowest priced camera. Pictures look good to me and the cam has good trigger speed. The quality of their higher end cams are even better and have more options.

I use the ca 3.0 covert cams also you can still find them online I think DLC has stopped production on them. same for the ca 4.0
but the good news is the mp6 and the new mp e5 uses 8 AA batterys in a slightly larger case but eliminates the old remote cable system
