I think they move it every couple years to spread it out around the state. That's my guess any way in the past couple years I've been back home this is third different place, I wanna say Bloomington was before Peoria. Anyway I'll hopefully be goin over seeing as it an hour away.
They moved it from Bloomington because half of the Interstate Center, including most of the heated indoor display space, was sold and no longer available. They moved it from Peoria because of scheduling conflicts where they couldn't get the dates (or even close to them) that they wanted. I think it will be in Springfield for the foreseeable future.

Its an hour and a half away so ill probably stop by for a day. Ive never been to one before so it should be fun. If someone wants to meet up with me an check stuff out that would be cool. It might help me not look like a chicken with my head cut off around there

Wonder if the earlier date affects any of the mounts that get brought in. Thats kinda the best part of goin anyway imo.
I'm going to try to go, never made the drive north to check it out, now it's literally a 5 minute drive. Friday will be the day I try to go. Have family plans Saturday and Sunday is the Superbowl. Sunday might be possible, kick off isn't until 5pm and how much pregame me can one person stand?
