Guys yall may have to carry me this year. The lease I found most of mine on last year will be lease to an oil field company any day now and not sure if they are going to let us come back to shed hunt. And the open land were I look and find quite a few sheds every year was leased to a corporation this year and the land owner has said to check back with him in 6 weeks to see if I will be allowed to look for sheds. But on the brighter side I have arranged a turkey in Kansas and the guy I will be with said there should be some sheds around were we will be. I will be looking for new land to shed hunt on this year so I hope I do half as good as last year.

 

Im headed out for the first time tomorrow, with fresh snow not expecting much but its suppose to be warm so I cant think of anything better than a scouting/shed hunting trip. Have a few that shed on camera and hitting some public.

 

I'm here. Won't be headed out until later this year but hope to help out the best I can. Goodluck everyone!

 

We got pounded with snow so looks like I'll be waiting for a thaw. Did come across a dead spike yesterday, no markings and not eaten on, possibly hit by a car but not sure.

 

Looks like one change for this year is we're more responsible for keeping track of our score on the scorecard thread, the captain needs to keep it updated. Matt, you willing to lead us again this year?

 

Made my first shed mission this morning in Ohio. Picked up a nice matched set from a big public land 7 pt. Scored him out at 125.25". I will get some pics up after while.

I sent out a message to our last two team members not to sign in, if Matt doesn't chime in I'll let Krohboy know if we need any replacements.

 

He knows we need two more I have been in contact with him.

 

Went on my first shed hunt today and came up empty. There's still a lot of snow so maybe in a couple of weeks

 

Here is the set I found last weekend in ohio...

 

I will be on vacation in 5 days and if the snow holds out, I will have a couple long days in ohio to grid up the valley....last weekend got me going and now i have the itch to get out.
