Christmas Deer

    Anybody else get anything from the stand on Christmas? I saw 3 out about 200 yards in a field. My Dad, on the other hand, had a great morning. Saw 8 deer, 2 coyotes, and only 1 squirrel. He shot this one at about 25 feet. He's not used to shooting that close, so he spined it. Dropped right on the spot and was dead before he could reload his xbow. He was a very happy camper :D

    We got up at 3:30am. Staggered around a bit.. Turned on the coffee... listened to the wind outside. Went back to bed. :D

    He saw 8 deer, 2 coyotes, and 1 squirrel. Going back over there Saturday to put little brother in that stand and see if he can get one for the board :)

    Congrats to your dad. That's a dandy of a doe. I'm hoping to get a couple more does for the freezer before Jan 31st. Got pretty close on the evening of Christmas Eve but no shot.
