Getting ready to head out soon. Lil one had a scope done in out patient surgery this morning. All went well and he's wanting to go to school. So I'm gonna give it a go. Saw a real nice buck last sit but ran out of light. This is only my second time on this property. Hopefully I can connect this evening!!!

That sucks man. I had the same exact thing happen to me last year on one of the properties that i hunt. I did end up seeing deer in the afternoon after they left but it still sucked.

Live from the stand. Well, sorta. I have a nice mature half rack bedded down at about 50 yards from me. Looks like he must be wounded cause he's got a pretty bad limp. Might take him if given the oppurtunity.

Hope he presents u a shot skywalker.

I haven't seen any activity besides the deer I jumped on the way in. Gonna sit for about another hour then call it if nothing happens.

First sit in over two weeks, lack of motivation and wanting to let the area settle down. Needless to say the crunchy snow alerted the deer in nearby counties I was back. Had deer blowing for about a minute from upwind. Confidence I have not.

That's the bad thing about melting snow, it crusts back over during the night. Hoping for the best
