I realize that. I was making a statement to clear the air about my comments. Honestly, my true beliefs are probably closer to what the Native Americans believed before they were forced to accept Christianity.
Ok well I will say that I believe that God is the creator of all, sent his son to die on the cross for all of our sins. Im not saying that in an argumentative way. Am I perfect? Negative. Will I not talk to, befriend anyone that believes differently, nope. As far as religion I know of a lot of, 'look at me' people. Not a fan... Oh wait, this was about Santa. Yes my kids are huge Santa fans...but they also are taught the true meaning of Christmas. Anyway, just my 2 cents....carry on. criticize me if you want, but I will not you.
Should I use the icon??? :D What I mean is the Bible talked about the Circle of the Earth when the Scientists thought it was flat .... The Bible talked about how God hung the Earth on nothing while Science thought the Earth was supported by something to keep it "up" ... it goes on and on and on... If you really want to study it, check out some of the sites from a Christian who is a scientist ... the carbon dating myth .. there is so much .... but with everyone of them there are conflicting theories ...
How many non believers are turned off by brash believers who think they are being bold or enthusiastic? The balance is made up with people that have witnessed a Christian acting blatantly non Christian. I would hazard s guess that the percentage of non believers whole truly just chose to think otherwise is pretty low.
Never heard of this ..... try this ...http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/1999/11/05/dinosaurs-and-the-bible
I would tend to agree. I'm not a non-believer, but I question A LOT. Organized religion (particularly Catholicism in which I was raised) is too hypocritical, and imho, I don't agree with 95% of it. There's too much that's left unanswered in this world to have such a minimalist black and white approach to creation.
