We had a great opening weekend here in Wisconsin. I filmed my dad shoot the narrow racked 8 point at 730, then self filmed my self killing the wide 10 point at 1pm. Then my brother made a non fatal shot on the big bodied low racked 8 point and I finished it. After I shot the big bodied buck. The tall racked buck my dad shot stood up and he smoked him. Thank god for party hunting in Wisconsin otherwise we would have been out of tags.

Congrats! Some Nice bucks! I seen someone getting into your ride at Subway last friday in Princeton when I was headed up north, didn't look like you so I didn't yell anything out the window. Was it you?

Haha no that was my mom. She took the Explorer up there early because it was all packed up and I had basketball practice Friday night.

After not seeing a single deer in the woods for three years, I got lucky this year. This is the one and only deer I saw for 4 days of hard hunting, The DNR is not making things easy around northern Wisconsin. Any way, the freezer will be filled with sausage and spicy Slim Jims shortly !

Not a deer, but I feel shooting one of these things with this gun at 30-35 yds is picture worthy.

Took a doe Nov. 17. 132 yard shot with my H&R 20 gauge. She took a few steps before falling over. Temps were high that day, so in my hurry, no pics were taken.

Only have Dec. 1st and 2nd I can gun hunt now. Still have an either sex tag, so still debating to fill it with a doe, or try to fill my limit on bucks for a year.

Shot this one on opening day. He's the biggest buck I've killed so far. My neighbors shot at him 10 times before hitting him in the back leg. He ran onto our property about 100 yards behind me and I dropped him in his tracks.

Truely unbelievable season this year..........opening day NY at 7:15 a beautiful doe strolls by and at 9:00 a sweet buck I was targeting popped out of his den for a look at doe nearby. Man I love my Leupold VX-R and my home cooked ammo.

At 7:30 we got my nephew into the act with his first deer ever!!

Next day my dad popped a nice doe from his new hunting blind :)

Dragged dad and brother back to cabin yesterday and managed a nice day even in warm temps.
