Went out this afternoon (11-15-2012) and decided to sit for a couple hrs. and see what happens. Well, around 3:30 this stud ("Brow tines" is his name) came right down the draw and offered a 25 yrd. broadside shot and I made it count. He was my number one hit list buck this season and he is a brusier for sure. I have at least 3 yrs. of history with this deer and it feels pretty awesome to finally seal the deal on him. This season has just been crazy. I killed a nice buck on 10-5-2012 and now this buck tonight. I am tagged out for bucks in Illinois but I am surely not complaining.......hope everyone else is having a great season. Quick update about my deer......My buddy and I green scored him today (11/27/2012) and he went 168 6/8 Gross BC.......and 154 4/8 net BC! The funny thing is he has almost 6" of abnormal points and some symmetry deductions which hurts his score but he is still a giant in my eyes......he is going to look INCREDIABLE on the wall for sure with those "brows". That is a stud right there! Way to make it happen...it is extra special when it is a deer you have that kind of history with. Sounds like you won't ever forget this year of deer hunting, CONGRATS!
