Great looking deer. Hope you have pix with the bow, you and the deer or it may not be counted. Still a great deer and congrats again.

Never even thought about that! It was trying to rain when we found him so we got out of there as quick as possible. My bow is included in the pic with him in the Ranger. Assuming the gun season in Illinois isnt open yet I am hoping there isnt any doubt what he was killed with.

Got back from my Kansas trip on Sunday. I'll get the cape and skull back from the processor in the next week or so. Then I'll get a tape on him and put him in the score thread.

Well boys, I was able to get the big buck, Zeus, I was after all fall. Unfortunately for you, it was with my shotgun, so the score won't help but I sure am tickled to just have the opportunity to see him, put a good shot and a good track job on him. The rest is topping on the ice cream. I'll get some pictures up here soon

Scored 144 5/8 as a main frame 8 with two abnormal points. Measured 19 7/8 wide.
I am planning on getting a pedestal mount of him, using three of his rubs as legs to the pedestal.

It truly is a remarkable feeling to be able to take him after all the history I have with him.
