Don't know ounces but I have " 2" of oil in the bottom of a spray bottle then fill with imitation vanilla" it was a Hoosier daddy recipe so I give credit where it's due. I used an empty scent eliminator bottle for the sprayer.

Do you use as cover or attractant?

I use straight vanilla flavoring for a cover scent. I buy the big bottles cheap at the local "Deals" store. Just make sure you get vanilla flavoring, instead of extract. Most extract I run across has alcohol in it. I prefer the stuff with no alcohol. I had a nice 6 pointer hanging out not 15 yards dead down wind of me early this morning, and he had no clue I was there.

I used to use, and had great results with the commercially available "Cover Up" scent, and it smelled just like straight vanilla. Used in conjunction with showering before each hunt with scent away soap, it works great for me.
