Who's Hunting Friday in the Midwest?

Hope we get some good wind direction here for it.... two weeks before rifle season should be the Best bowhunting of are year here.

 

I will be out Friday & the next ten days after that! Can't wait!

 

I suppose I'll climb a tree with the predicted cold front coming in. I prefer action in the first three weeks of November, but you cant kill em from the couch. I've taken November 1-19 off this year, somethings gotta die right?

 

I just might have to sit.

 

In the 20's overnight is the forecast here in eastern Nebraska. So if the EHD didn't kill'em, maybe I can.

Not in the midwest, but that weather is supposed to reach PA by Monday. I'm pumped as I am planning on hunting on Halloween. Hunting on Halloween is a tradition of mine. For some reason, I always, regardless of weather do well on that day.

 

Not Friday. But I will be sat morning, sat night and Sunday morning.

Have off Friday, Monday and Tuesday...looking forward to some good time in a tree. Hope the action picks up, its been a bit slow recently.

 

I'll be at my 40 hours Thursday, so Heck yeah for hunting on Friday. Thursdays high is 80 and then Friday's is 50 (in STL). however, they are also calling for scattered showers on Friday, but that doesn't bother me. I'll have to take the little guy into Day Care and then head to the woods to sit the remaining of the day out in my favorite place.

Yeah i have playoffs for football Wednesday, if we lose my parents said i can take school off thursday to recover. They don't know i'll be doing an all day sit :D i'll also be hunting morning and night saturday.

 

My buddy and I are already planning on it. Can't wait to get in that tree!

 

They are calling for rain in my area, but unless its a downpour I'll be out and all weekend.

 

Yes please. Been seeing a few more bucks at night while driving. Also saw a buck grunting and chasing a doe last night. Friday should be good.

 

I will also hunt the 9th-11th if need be.

 

I just added Halloween to the list, just not sure about the moon being nearly full. Was reading some of my posts from the 2010/2011 live from the stand threads seeing what I was saying and seeing during the full moons. Kind if neat reliving some of the sits

 

I can't wait! I'll be out on Friday Evening - and the rest of the weekend. Plan: Hunt the freshest scrapes I can find in the morning and the best food sources in the evening. Bucks will be on their feet. HOLY CRAP ITS ALMOST HERE!

I'm going out wesday mornning and then sat,sun. forecast for wednesday is uper 70's but the forecast for the
weekend is cold lower 40,s.

 

Almost sounds like you are planning on losing? Ha Ha...I coach football here in Central, IL...we have made it the the middle of November the past three years and look to do it again. If we ever lose, I will fall back on the free hunting time I will be gaining.

We won it all in 2010 and 2011, going for 3 in a row now.

Funny, in IL we got rid of that Wednesday night game about 25 years ago. I lost one my Jr year, are coach said we were in big trouble if we missed school on Thursday. Well, if you lose, I hope you get a big buck!
