How long do you have to post pics of a kill. Having a chance to kill more than one buck does a guy hold on till end of the year to enter it ? i do a lot of hunting by myself are self photos are ok if u can see bow, deer, and you? just want to get this clear up before season starts. thank

You should enter your deer as soon as you can. Only your first buck counts for the contest. As long as its two photos, and they clearly have you, your bow and your deer, youll be fine. There are many entries that aren't good quality photos, but they get the job done. If I have any issues with entries, I'll PM the mmeber so they know and have a chance to fix it.

Honestly it's all on the honor code...but here's the rule section copied and pasted:

Each participant is allowed to enter ONE antlered deer. This must be the FIRST antlered deer that you harvest during the season. If you are fortunate enough to harvest a 2nd antlered deer, it will not be eligible for this contest. (first page of this thread)

You need to put your name down on the alternates listed hopefully you'll get on a team.

Ok, it's 4 days to the season, I'm bored and needed mental stimulation. I just finished building a name randomizer in excel for next years contest. All we have to do is enter the names of all the participants and it randomly assigns them to a team. I really need to get out more, I know....

Where do we find this list? I am interested as well, although I have a feeling I will have tagged a deer before a spot opens up..lol.

That bites. When the registration ends is when I am still jammed packed with work. I am on the road LOTS and rarely have time to go on for business reasons, much less try to enter in a contest that would take place when I have lots of time to hunt. So if the organizers are reading this, can I sign up now for next year? :tu:

You have had since July to enter. Sure you could have found 2 minutes. Good luck this season. Be sure to look for the Official Sign up thread next summer.

A simple "no" would have been fine instead of assuming one should have time. I work hard all spring and summer so I can have the fall and winter off to enjoy hunting and ice fishing. Seriously, no hard feelings.

I just thought it might be fun and relaxing to be able to join in a friendly contest. That is why I asked in advance for next year..... My apologies for asking. If anybody ever starts one up for those of us who arrive late to sign up (after deadline), please let me know as I would enjoy participating in it.

Good luck to everybody who is entered and also happy and hopefully successful hunting to everybody.

    Thanks,
    Matt

After you enter your pix and info does it need to say "Entered" in red before it is offically entered on the score card for our team?? If so, how long does it usually take to get "entered"??
    Thanks

Yes, I add the "entered" as I go through and tally up the scores. I typically go through and score every Friday, but it got messed up a bit with Thanksgiving and not having my laptop for WI rifle season. Last update was Weds, and I'll be updating it this Friday.
