What was your first buck

Some of you guys seen i got my first buck the other day a nice 4x4. But wondering what everyones first buck was and when.

 

congrats on the buck .Mine was a 5.5 tr old 8pt that scored about 120 and change.I shot alot of does before I got a buck

 

hahahahah me too my friends started makeing fun of me calling me the doe slayer

 

First buck was a bitty one. 3x3 maybe score 70pts. Was my first year hunting, second deer.

 

My first buck was a 3 pointer. My second is a completely different story.

 

My first 2 bucks were both spikes and all of my bucks have been firearm kills. I have yet to harvest a buck with a bow. I had my first doe kill with a bow on 9/21/12 and just stuck another smaller doe this morning at 0745 hrs. I'm outta the woods giving her some time and will pick up the blood trail in a few hours.

 

My first deer with a bow was a spike.....October 1979. A far cry from now when last fall I pasted 16 different bucks....and then bought beef.

 

Technically my first, though legally registered as an antlerless....



My first bow buck, two days later...

 

My first was last year in November of my first season bowhunting. He was a 4.5 year old 153" Kansas 10 point.

 

6 pt during the rut when I was 16 years old. Still remember it like it was yearerday

Mine was a fork horn that wouldnt leave the
area I was hunting I tried to spook him off he just
kept comein back so I muzziefied him! And he tasted awsome! Im still tryin to soot something other then a basket rack but I freek when
I see horns and lose all track of age class and body mass
And go right into kill mode!

 

my first buck was a 7 pointer with a rifle. first buck with a bow was a nice basket rack 8 point

 

Mine was a little 8 point. He was my first deer, and it was my first season hunting. He came in chasing a doe, and it happened so fast I had to pinch myself to make sure it was real.

 

Mine was a few weeks bk, 10p 138" it made it better that he was my no1 buck for the season

 

My first buck was a monster 3 point ..when I was seven. He was around 200 yards..I had only practiced at 100. I shot, he jumped straight up and was now facing the other way. The next shot, I held high ..don't know how high, just above his back. He went down..I practically ran across that bottom ground to get there.
My first bow buck was about ten years later. I had an old whitetail hunter 2 bear. This bow had to be 40" axel- axel, with probably a 32-33" draw. This thing didn't exactly fit me..it was a gift. I rattled and grunted in another monster 5 pointer this time. I think I shot at this deer three times before I hit him..good thing to, thats all the arrows I had. He ran about 30 yds and done.
Neither of the two hunts are say "buy the book on how to hunt deer", but I've learned alot in my hunting years now. Shooting these two deer has made me the hunter I am today.

mine was a 14 point 168 5/8 inch 8year old.. cool but kinda sucked cause you always want something bigger and that isnt easy to beat! awsome deer tho

 

Mine was an 8pt and my son's was a 16pt.

 

16 years old...7 seasons ago...

 

My first buck was a tall 7pt when i was 12 years old.
