Give him another year and im sure he will be a brute. (even though i would shoot him if he walked past my stand in michigan because i dont have a lot of time to hunt this year) lol
awesome deer he would be a brute next year but if your like me its hard to let deer go cause you know the landowner next ya wont pass him if they get the chance
What to you guys makes him the ages you stated...what do u see looking at him...and what does he score
(this is just my opinion) i would put him at 3.5 years as well, the things i look at is the area you are from and then the deer its self. The body just in front of the hind legs is rather flat in a younger deer you tend to see it sucked in more then it forms into the rib cage. the other thing is the nose they tend to get grayer on the top of the nose. Once again i am no expert but that might help a bit. As far as scoring him i would say between a 130 - 145 green it is hard to see int these picks. just because there is not a tone of mass but just in the pics it looks to be even all around, but a nice looking buck! Good luck this year and enjoy.
I look at the muscle definition and gut and then the gray on the muzzle...guess is 3.5-4.5 yrs. If he weighs in at around 120-140 lbs on the hoof, I'd say he'll score 100-110 or so.
I'd say 4.5, full neck, well defined brisket, full body, bit of a paunch starting. Not a monster, but a nice deer-guessing 120-130, maybe a smidge more, pic is hard to see on my phone.
