Thank you for your service. When it comes to bowhunting and my limited time to hunt, I shoot whatever i am blessed enough to have the oportunity to shoot. Too many years i have passed up oportunities that i wish i would have taken. I hope you get another chance!!!

Thank you for your service to our country!!!! Last year I let a nice fat doe pass thinking I had plenty of time to get a doe but that was the only good shot I had at a doe for the rest of the year. I won't make that mistake again.

hey man thanks for the service. Last year i tried to play prostaff and passed some bucks to shoot the king pin and bit me in the ace. At the end of the season i realized that its just not worth it at this point in my life and id rather harvest the deer that i can. You best believe the first legal guy who walks past is getting poked :woot:

Good luck and thanks for your service. But I have to disagree with your statement about shooting a buck early that you'd take on the last day, simply because I'm in Indiana and we're a 1 buck state. That means 1 buck all year, regardless if you take him during bow, firearms or muzzleloader season. So, if I've gone the full 3 months and haven't had a shot at anything, well, I'll shoot a spike. However, if I were to shoot that spike on opening day, I can't kill another buck until the following year. So I'll pass on some smaller bucks early in the season. I will, however, take the first doe I get a shot at, regardless of her size.

We are a 1 buck state as well. In my county we can only shoot a buck if it has 4 points including brow tine on one side. so 8 point or bigger basically.

Hey brother, thank you. I myself went through basic training and AIT at fort benning and let me tell you what, its an experience you'll carry with you for the rest of your life. The first few weeks are the "what did I get myself into" weeks lol then the real fun begins. Wait until youre at the range nearly every day! What a blast. BTW, take advantage of sunday church service. Keeps your spirits up and get you out of a little bay cleaning hahaha

Another thing to remember, there will be alot of arguing between your platoon at first but the faster you can become a team the easier everything will go. If someone is struggling, dont put them down. Pull them up and motivate them, make them want to push themselves. It will be better for both of you.

BUT, most of all----ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE
