Has there ever been a time that you wanted to skip class more than these first few days of the season???
I'm in school, and I skip way too much. It doesn't help that I have been sick lately, either. Right now I am scrambling to get caught up. Tonight is going to be a late night. I have an organic chemistry exam tomorrow night
Im in college and i skipped my last class yesterday and it was well worth it i tagged my first deer! but my schedule works so that i can get afternoon hunts in and not have to skip many but when rut comes around ill probably take a couple days off
I did last year, I can't now because of my lab. I'm going on "vacation" sometime soon and then again for the trout opener.
Yeah I am taking 4 lab science classes this semester so I can only hunt monday and friday evenings and the weekends, however this weekend were taking a class trip to Maine so I cant hunt :-/ How is ochem going? I took ochem 1 and 2 last semester
luckily my only class of the day was canceled today, so i went hunting. But i've skipped about 5 or 6 classes so far this season to hit the woods
I skip my last hour every day to get out into the woods early, Its a study hall anyways. mine as well go study the deer
Search Khan Academy on youtube. The guy is really good at explaining the concepts. He has an organic chemistry channel that have something like 160 videos just on ochem from substitution and elimination all the way through aromatics, esters, ethers, etc.
I am in highschool and I want to take vacation the first week of season LOL! But...I know education is important so I just get home from school and head out to the stand. Lucky enough I get a Fall break from school Oct. 25,26,27,28. Gonna be nice!
I skipped days of school back in high school, but never in college. I'm paying for it so I can't find a way to justify skipping classes. I'm close enough to go home on weekends, and don't have Friday classes this semester, so I have just been going home every weekend and hunting basically all day Friday and Saturday.
Unlike most people I like college. I haven't skipped any class for hunting. The reason I am in college is to make a better living and when I do that I'll be able to have more toys for hunting. Sucks having to wait but that's the way it has to be right now.
Also, I think maybe with my degree I maybe have a shot for working for a company that is bowhunting related. I think how nice it would be to work with customers about the things I love to do and have a passion for. Plus lately I've added bowhunting in my assignments. For a business plan I am opening up my own Bow Shop from scratch.
If I can skip a class where the professor reads off a power point and I can study the material later and get the same out of it, you better believe thats what I am doing.
I've skipped a few classes in my time. Funny part is some of the professors would ask at the next class how my hunt was. They knew and luckily I had some pretty cool professors!
My job i want to do (firefighter) would allow for alot of time to hunt. though it might not pay a ton but i would be helping people out and have time to hunt on days off!
