Putting up a 15ft stand tomorrow with my buddy for the first time, and wasn't sure what tools you guys think I need to take with me.

So far I am taking some screwdrivers, socket set and saw. Anything else you think I need for securing this stand?

    Thanks

I always bring an extra tie down strap. That way if the ladder stand is a little wobbly, you can tighten it up with the extra strap.

I always put the stand together for the most part at home, Then pop the ladder sections on right before putting it up to the tree. Chain and locks

take a magnet. never fails if you put it together in the trees u will drop screws. put it together at home, and save yourself the headache.

I second the pole saw. I finally bought one and have no idea why I didn't before. I can't tell you how many times I didn't have a good shot or couldn't hang a stand where I wanted due to a bunch of limbs.

The only advice I will add is to get rid of the branches after you cut them! Whenever I'm in the woods and find a cut branch on the ground I look for the tree stand. I'm sure thieves do too! Becareful, good luck!

Like others have said: Pole saw and extra ratchet strap for stand. Pre-assembly is nice, then can just carry it in by sections and it will snap together quickly.

Thanks guys, I put most of it together at the house as suggested. It was pretty simple since I knew what tools I needed once I got out there. Thanks for the help once again. Hopefully it'll produce.
