take the first one. he is a more mature deer, if you suspsect he is in decline, get him out of the picture and start pumping those food plots, minerals, time, money and energy into the younger bucks while you look at the first on the wall and on the end of your fork.
the drought really did not have much effect on deer as many people think. So if it came down to it i think your better of waxing him if he comes by instead of taking the risk of him getting even smaller
Base it on age structure and beyond that they look to be in similar classes and thus whatever buck walks by 1st.
