I'm getting a new arrow rest and was just wondering what some of the good ones are out on the market??
I like the QAD Ultra-Rest HD. I have it on two bows and will probably have it on another next year. Works great and has for years with no malfunctions.
Ripcord code red. I have had one for almost 2 years, my buddy for about 3 years, and another buddy for a year. There hasn't been even the slightest issue with any one of them. Also the price is a lot better than most.
Hawk Eye. It's half the price of some of the more popular rests out there. Great rest. Simple and effective. I've had the top of the line AAE rests, QADs, Rip-Cords; they are ALL great rests. However, for the money, the Hawk Eye is EVERYTHING those other rests are.
I have two apaches and really like them. I finally figured out the tuning issue with my CARBON and its shooting bullets. I was about ready to swap back to a WB. I'm glad I stuck with it and figured it out now. My brothers revolution is starting to have issues. It doesn't fully rotate closed like it did new. This is causing issues with the arrow becoming out of square. It's dropping the tip. I keep adjusting the rope but, it seems the more he shoots it, the more slack has to come out of the rope.
I personally use a Hostage. I like it because the fletchings never touch the arrow holding part of the rest.
