Struck out this weekend in Wi. I'll be hanging stands in MN this week and once I get some time to sit, the first doe that walks by is getting an arrow.

I am just jealous that people are already sitting in deer stands! Make me want the season to start that much more here in Illinois!

I'm on my phone...can't really see any detail in the pics. But I'm gonna go 170 at least just from his frame. Nice buck for sure!

If there is a buck in that picture then I must have the worst eyes ever, because they appear to be black pictures.

I thought the same thing at first too, but I saved it to my hard drive and lightened it up and you can see him. Big deer. See attached.

Dear Lord THAT THING IS HUGE! Yeah the brows appear to be about as large as some of the main beams. That would help take us to the front of the pack if you put that one down!

Killed a six point last night! I have no idea how to score it or if it's worth scoring...this is Connecticut remember. Anyone know how to score?

Madness, measure the length of the beams from bottom of antler follow beam around to the tip, the end.....then measure all tines from the top of the antler to the tip of the tine, basically where they grow out of the beam up to the tip . once you measure all of those you get four circumfrences start at the base again measure around, go to the second tine repeat process, same at third tine and if theres no more points find the middle between the last tine and the tip of the antler and measure circumfrence that should be all four measurements. once you have all of that measured put the tap at the greatest spread from side to side on the inside of the rack! now you should have a gross score meaning everything added up and calculated. we are not doing deductions or there would be another step for this we are only using gross score total inches of antler grown~!
