aww was she born 2 hunt also? haha anyway 19 days til opener, im skipping a few days of school because some idiot decided to put october first on a monday this year, dont know what thats about. im lookin to shoot an opening day doe this year. 50 points plus some backstraps, and if that spotted fawn comes around it mine! haha jk but whose season starts in 4 days???
I wish ours was here too and it looks like I will be spending some of my hunting vacation working on my house.
I have been working on it hard. Moved 690 block last night so they could start foundation today. They have one wall up already. Next will be frame then I might be able to slide out in AM's before working on inside when that time comes. My season starts Oct 1st so I have a bit yet.

i also got my cameras checked last weekend, got the 2 great bucks patterned like clockwork, always stay together and all pictures in the middle of the day, one of them looks to be a 110-115" inch 7 point and the other looks around 125" 8 point. ive had these same bucks on camera since july nearly the same time everyday. now i got a stand 35 yards from the trail camera

Here is a new fella that just showed up and he looks good to me to shoot. This area is covered in acorns and they are hitting them really hard right now.

Yep. The first pic i have of him is blurry as he was moving his head when the pic took. Other pic was at 7am. I have 5 other bucks on cam but this is the nicest one. Have a 3 1/2 year old 3 pt that I need to get out of the gene pool. Nice fork on one side and a club on the other. Checking cams again next week and hopefully I have more pics of this guy!!!
