Headed out Sunday morning to try my luck, hopefully the mosquitoes will be merciful on me! Cold front coming through this weekend, hopefully that'll get things going

Haha trust me I will have it and plenty of gas for it, but with all the rain down here, the things are big as humminbirds! Looks like I will be able to sneak in a quick hunt in the morning now!

Good luck to those of you lucky enough to be in the woods already. My season feels years away still.

Good luck again to you guys hunting or about to start! I can't wait to see what you guys knock down this year, Dave any good bucks on the radar this week? I know my WA and ID bucks are shedding velvet pretty hvy now and gonna start transitioning due to hvy elk hunting pressure in the woods..

Fitz posted a thread proposing the subject. People seem to be 50/50 on it... not many want it added this year, though. Thread has really gotten out of hand, just opened a door for everyone to *****.

Great job on the elk! Were they talking much? Had two bulls at 25 yesterday. One bull was three steps from getting shot until the wind swirled. Stopped once at 35 on his way out but he was quartering to hard. I have all next week off so we should be in them!

Congrats again Troy! Great season so far! Good luck on your second buck in ID and hunting in WA.

Dave copied the link that I was going to. Who knows what will happen with the second buck counting as a doe. It needs to be only for the guys who don't get doe tags, but I'm afraid the guys who get multiple buck tags are going to whine of they can't use a second buck too. I wish the contest was one buck per contestant, as its the only thing every single one of us has in common.
