I have never seen such a fabricated show in my life. There's 3 mountain men, one in North Carolina, one in Idaho and one in Alaska. All 3 are old and senial in my opinion. Well, I'm wrong... senial is a nice way of saying these folks are dumb. Dumber than rocks. LOL It is such a joke. I was actually laughing out loud at the shows claims. I mean these 3 guys were going to be killed at any minute by wolves, poachers or grizzly bears. The sad thing... these guys are probably making money for these performances. LOL Never... EVER ... have I seen such make believe. Like right now.. ole Marty in Alaska had to land his plane because of bad weather... well you can see for miles. Then he says he has to walk 4 miles to get the sheep his family needs to survive. So he's alone hundreds of miles from no where and there's a camera guy a half mile up the mountain filming him as he climbs. LOL Dorthy.... we may still be in Kansas.

I didn't make it 10 minutes. Watching any of those shows on the History Channel is becoming more and more difficult each year. The shows, like you said, are fabricated beyond belief. Its an insult to the real mountain men that are alive today.

I personally believe MOST hunting shows are too, for the most part. But, by far the most fabricated show I've seen is Lizard Lick Towing.

We'd never do that. They do come at different times of the year.

Y'all must have never watched Cajun Justice on A&E. As a coonass from the bayous of Terrebonne parish Louisiana I can assure you very few people believe in the "roogaroo/lutain" or do voodoo down here! It makes LA look so uneducated and trashy....

With all of the gulf coast rocket scientist that build their homes 12 ft below sea level, you would think NASA would have been based in New Orleans instead of Florida!

if its anything like the show "wildman" or turtleman or something. that show is so stupid. this guys goes out to a pond to catch some catfish because someone has been stealing them by fishing at night? WTF! he's swimming around trying to catch them then as it gets dark they warn that its too dangerous to be in water at night because the snapping turtles and catfish can eat you. REALLY!

Most of those shows are fabricated and so overly dramatized to make people think death is around every tree.
have you ever watched the show "moonshiners"? That one is probably the worst.
I watched some extreme fishing show over the weekend. This guy was an "adrenaline junky" and the most dangerous thing he did was drive to the river.
On the flip side, shows like "hooked", those are neat to watch.

    lol

Unfortunatley this show is real lol, I have seen this guy on more than one occasion in the area here in Kentucky filming. If you pay attention youll see that he does alot of "jobs" in or around Stanford and Danville Kentucky. They make it seem as if he has some animal sense or he is like a "turtle whisperer" , truth is he's nuts. He goes around catching wild animals by hand. Literally lol

Dont yall start talking about Swamp People. Troy is the man! Never thought I would like to go gator hunting (except playing at Ohio State) but I'd love to go with Troy and the boys!

Yeah because no one thought that before these shows started.

I'm convinced Hooker is the smartest man in LA.

I saw some of that Mountain Men show just as they were saying this NC guy was going to ride into town and see a lawyer about getting around his back taxes. They went on to say he owed $81,000 in back taxes. That left me with two questions: 1. How many years has he owned this land and not paid taxes; and 2. Why in the heck would any county let someone get $81,000 in arrears before going after them? Had to throw the BS Flag and then change the channel.
