broadhead stuck in arrow

    I have one G5 striker that will not come loose from the arrrow shaft. I have easton axis arrows....any ideas on how to get it to come loose with out damaging the arrow, insert or broadhead?

    Is the broadhead too tight or did you shoot at something hard that caused the broadhead and insert to crush together???

    Use a broadhead wrench.If it doesn't turn with just a little effort, leave it. You may damage the arrow or head if its not already.

    Do like stick said, try a wrench if it doesn't turn leave it or you might be down a arrow

    Personally If it were me. you cant get it out I would take a small brass rod that will fit into arrow shaft from knock end with knock out. Put down some padding, hold the arrow with BH pointing up and sling shaft down toward padding. A couple hits and insert should come out. Be careful where your slinging it, dont want anyone hurt or damaged property. You should be able to slightly gring one edge of insert to loosenn it up. install new insert.

    Stick it in some boiling water for a few seconds ( like 20 ) should unscrew with ease.
