Any NC guys out there counting the days down like I am? 17 DAYS TO GO!! Anyone have a particular buck they are chasing? A lot of the guys here know this one is on my list. Sept. 8th around 9PM I plan on having pics with him on the ground and a video of my kill shot.
Hunting Davidson and Randolph counties this year ! I put my trail cam out yesterday so I'll check it in about a week and hopefully I'll have something good to post up.
Present and more than anxious! Did my last scout of public land on Sunday with my oldest daughter, the last check of the lands and conditions to finalize plans. Placed the last order for some gear today and only have a few remaining tasks. No particular bucks on the public land I expect to primarily hunt. I have an eye on 2 near home, but they've been very erratic and elusive this summer, hoping one or both become more predictable with some cooler temps.
Hunting Macon and then I usually take 1-2 trips down to Bladen county. Nothing special on pics, im just ready for some meat.
Hunting my property here in Rowan and trying to make my way down to Gaston. May even take a whack at Mecklenberg also.

I used to gun hunt in montgomery with my dad a long time ago, i've seen some nice bucks taken out of there. Where about are you ? we were about 1/2 a mile from the state prison.

Yeah they are good. I know the owner there. He is a Great guy. I bought my HHA sight and new arrows from there.
Can't wait, hunting Martin County Just outside Edgecombe. Four stands up. Put out two cameras out last weekend. Very little activity. We lost a lot deer last year.
