Hey, I'm up in Maine visiting a friend and as usuall hunting is on my mind. Any of yall from up Herr or ever hunted up here? I wanna try it seeing as I'm from Mass.
I went to high school in Waterville, which is right up the road. I believe China may be in the expanded archery zone, which would open in a little over a month with unlimited doe tags available for purchase and one buck tag. If China is not I believe Vassalboro is, you can get the boundaries on the wildlife website. You can set up a bear bait or two, (with land owner permission), but can not hunt the bears for a little under 4 weeks. Not a whole lot of hunting to be done this time of year, but if you got a fishing pole China Lake is supposed to be good.
