Best Broadhead for elk

    I know this has been asked before, but its February and Im chomping at the bit to chase elk. I would just like to have everybodys opinion on what they think the best BH is for elk:rock:

    I like a good sharp fixed blade BH. I shot this elk with a 3 blade 100gr muzzy (pulling in the mid 50's)... Elk went 100 yds tops...

    I can't tell you what the best one is, but I'll definitely be watching this thread. I'm looking forward to elk season here. I can't wait until it starts getting a little warmer here so I can go and scout my prospective hunting area!! On one hand, I'm glad summer's here, but on the other, I can't wait until hunting season is here too!!!!

    I like less moving parts (fixed). I have a friend who swears by non-fixed BHs.

    I like Magnus and RazorTrick, both cut on contact heads. Especially good if you're not superman pulling 80 lbs. I shoot 52 and my wife shoots 42 lbs and have killed with both poundages.

    I have been messing around with the Ramcat head and so far I am impressed with it.

    I have a friend (hard to believe:D) who shoots Grim Reapers and he swears by them. He has shoot a 5 piont bull and a cow and got a pass thru on both.

    Muzzy baby, easy to tune, fly like a dart, and penetrate! My wife shoot's magnus 85 grain head's at 52 lbs and hasn't had a problem yet. Just my 2 cent's

    I plan to send a NAP hellrazor through an elk in just over a month, cant wait!!
