I'm gonna go with the black dot. Behind the shoulder blade and at this angle I am going to say double lung.
I always aim for the heart. If he ducks (which chances are he'll duck even if it's the slightest little bit) I get both lungs, if he doesn't I shoot him in the heart if my shot's true.
1st choice of course is a heart shot... but i have yet to have a deer run more than 100 yards after a double lung shot!
I would aim Pink. But it really depends on how alert the deer is. But then again I am always over analyzing things.
Aim for the top of the heart miss get both lung hit get heart an lungs --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?g0dbkn Sent from my hand held hunting device
X2 I like this school of thought. It's also a bit better if you misjudge your distance in either direction. If he's closer, you'll still get the lungs, if he's too far there is a good chance you'll shoot under him and he'll live to be hunted another day.
For those people that answered blue or pink, have you experienced any problems with hitting bone or not getting a pass through?
I opted blue and of the deer I have shot with a bow broadside (which is a whooping 4 deer with a bow) 2 dink bucks,1 decent buck (dressed 150ish lbs) and 1 doe, all were pass throughs. Shooting 100 brain 3 blade muzzy's
I'm going with the blue dot. And this may be a better picture to give a better idea of exactly where everything is.
