I’m right handed and I shoot right handed but I’m left eye dominant. I shot right eye only for a long time. After some practice I’ve found that I can get away with squinting my left eye till my right eye “takes over.” Looking back I wish I would have learned to shoot left handed but I didn’t know anything about eye dominance back then.

One eye, right handed shooter, left eye dominant. I'll have to try that squinting that drath does.

Kind of weird for me. Really bright days,1 eye, cloudy days, 2 eyes. Don't know why I do it I just do. Probably a bad habit that I need to get out of but theres never really a difference in where I hit.

I actually shoot with my weaker eye only open. I shoot righty but I am left eye dominent. I tried shooting lefty but didn't feel comfortable at all so just stuck with righty and just deal with it.

There is no one answer for everyone...one must do what works most best for them

Many shoot with two eyes open

Randy Ulmer shoots with non-dominant eye completely closed

Bill Winke shoots with non-dominant eye partially closed (as do I)

Both eyes open. Doesn't matter if its a bow, a 30-06, or a sling shot.

The only way I'm shooting with only one eye open is if someone pokes one of my eyes out. :)

Ok...after more research...Randy shoots one eye open while competing. When he hunts he shoots both eyes open or squints the non-dominate eye if he feels it trying to take over allowing the dominate eye to re-establish control.

When I first started bow hunting I got all kinds of advice.. Both eyes is the best advice I received and it was the most natural after just a few shots.
