It's been so damn hot here, it's hard to get too excited. I have been working hard on my food plots and planning my tower blind, so I have those things to keep me focused. I'd like to get several days in the 80's so I can get that blind up without having a heat stroke.

Starting Monday 7/1 2012-13 hunting license will be up for sale! The down side? MD went from $24.50 + stamps to $40 and change + $6 bow stamp + $6 muzzleloader + $9 waterfowl + $5 furbear. Your MD license will also no longer cover spring turkey you must pay another $ 10! So in order to legally kill things this year I need to spend...$76.00

I actually enjoy summer, but I have my reasons :D

I just put out my third cam and Monster Raxx site today. I have a fourth cam waiting for a cable and some extra batteries ready to go as well. I'm shooting occasionally, but I'm not yet 100% pumped, or ready. Too busy enjoying each day.

I take that back (somewhat). :D just got back from driving across the access road of my parents property and spotted two solid 8s that I don't have pics of yet in the corn. I may have gotten a little excited:D

Funny you mentioned this. I was thinking this Monday. Something just felt different. Weird how it's a year round thing, but certain points during the year really trigger that feeling. Like little steps towards the grand prize.
