One got stolen... I know that for sure... He made a few posts about it... even had one picked out here last week maybe? So It probably won't be for long... He's a great shot and person... I hate to see him out of the game.
Jeff was banned for his consistant personal attacks on other Forum members both in the open as well as hundreds of PM's over the course of several years. It's as simple as that. I'm not sure how anyone who has been here for any length of time could honestly say they didn't see his behavior is distruptive at best, and in many cases completely unacceptable. I don't know what you think was the "actual reason", but that's it. Straight from the guy who hit the button.
Thank you sir for your answer.... Disruptive, sure. But I must have missed the Open personal attacks on anyone in the 5 years I've known him... I'll leave it at rest now.. Nothing good can come from it.
Jeff called a spade a spade no doubt. Problem is, he liked to try calling everything from HDTVs to pencils spades as well. I do sincerely miss BH.com though
Most guys have been mentioned that I can think of. While they are missed, the real sad thing for me is... Walking to the post office ever day since August of 2008. Opening my post office box. Excitedly looking inside!!! Seeing nothing !! Do you think I should give up that maybe... just maybe... my surprise gift from Todd when joining... got lost in the mail ?? Just kidding !! All this remembering who isn't here anymore, who didn't come over from HNI... triggered that memory when Bowhunting.com just got started, the address PM request, and a couple guys were having a fit cause their gift didn't show up two days later. Hell... I was just glad bowhunting.com started up cause the other site just wasn't the same anymore and took a turn for the worse after the new owners took over. Tim
Believe me... they were there...the personnal attacks and bull hockey. I can be a bit testy at times. He was all the time. I got PMs where he told me he had it on word and was making it his mission to get me banned. Duhhhhhhh.
Yes, Jeff called a spade a spade...problem is I'm just not sure he knew what a spade was. Again, I had no problems with Jeff, but even I think he would go too far at times. I have to believe he understands why he got banned. His spade got called. At least when he was around, no one thought I was a ****. Sigh. Me too.
Certainly some entertianing characters in the names listed. Some I miss, some I don't. I think I'm in the minority, but I never understood the fascination with cardeer. He seemed like a bitter, self-pitying old guy. But he had a cult following.
