Sorry if this has been covered but I was unable to find anything.

On a 70# bow, what's the lowest draw weight usually?

That all depends on what bow you have. Some are very adjustable and some only adjust 10 lbs.

I think the Assassin is only 10 lbs of adjustment. Do you know what limbs are on it?

On an assassin with 70# limbs.... 70 lbs is the max. (Min would be around 60lbs. Just don't undo the bolts too far or the limbs will come off.)

You can go a little below 60 but the Assassin has holes where you can see the screws and that is a good way to make sure don't back them out too far. Also, once you start getting below 60# you will have a little more noise and some people have had fletching contact with the cables.

As others have said, usually 10# is it. If the bow says 70# on the sticker, 60# is about as low as you can go. Most of if not all of the newer PSE's have 15# 70# will go down to 55#. Then there is the mission. Most if not all of them can go from 15# all the way to 70#.

    General rule is 10#.

I have a 2011 Black Ops Assassin and it has 60-70lb limbs, but we have it maxed out and I'm actually pulling 73lbs. All done by the dealer with no problems.

It varies bow to bow. I forget the exact factory numbers, but my bow maxes out at something like 73# and goes down to 62#.
