Besides hunting what other hobbies do you enjoy???? ( besides the normal food plots, shooting, scouting and hunting related stuff)
I fly a Trex700 Nitro RC Helicopter for fun when I don't crash it LOL, Fishing the Gulf and the Mobile Alabama Delta.
But if things dont get better i'll be back to building and racing my own sprint cars like i have done for 25 years before i got married .
I guess it will be bow hunting for yotes this year. I don't really have any others right now. Besides God and Family, my other passion is Motorcycles. I don't have one right now because I sold my sport bikes. I am waiting to buy another one until I can get a Harley. I road hard for 6 years. Over 50,000 miles in the saddle of sport bikes. Put 12,000 miles and 15,000 miles on 2 different bikes the last 2 years I road. I like to have killed myself 4 different times. Broken ribs, broken collar bone, dislocated shoulder, torn shoulder ligaments, messed up rotator cup (or what ever the proper term is for it), severe road rash (only once bought racing leathers after that) concussion and more less serious injuries. I totaled 2 different bikes and a buddy totaled another one for me. I love the rush to much to buy another one of those.
I did the Nitro R/C in the form of cars and then trucks for a while. About 10 years on and off and did electric before then. I thought about buying another Traxxas T-Max now that they have really improved them. I bought the first version back probably 10 years ago and the frames wouldn't hold up to the abuse that the engines would allow you to put them through. If I don't buy one in the next year or so, I will when my boys get to around 6 or 7years old. Daddy gets one if the boys do. Probably do electric but, they are loads of fun.
I bass fish a lot, and I also pour and sell bass jigs. So I guess run a side thing. I don't take in to much because of my work hours.
Farm...play with the kids, I also coach HS football and softball I guess that's a hobby. Softball especially taking care of and putting time in working on the field.
I bass fish a good bit and also play a good bit of softball. I like to think of my job as a fireman as a bit of a hobby. I love it and I'm good at it. I also love spending time with my wife and son.
Besides bowhunting and archery, I enjoy motorcycles, photography, woodworking, and my wife and I are Beekeepers. In the warmer months, between riding my Road Star, and tending to our bee hives, we manage to stay busy. When the motorcycle riding and Honey Bees slow down in the fall, it's time to get after the deer. Having somewhat "seasonal" interests works out well!
Well, before I got married and had kids, I was a lot of fun. Was always into something it seemed. Now a days. I fish, raise two little kids, fulfill my honey-do lists that usually takes a year and occasionally build stuff in my wood shop. But, my wife got me into one of the greatest hobbies of all this winter. Making beer. I'm all setup now and brewing away. cool stuff.
My gardening and chickens have become income producers so I guess they're not hobbies anymore. We bowfish and burn up lots of ammo. Just built our first AR-15s. In two weeks we're going to get certified as NRA rifle instructors. We also teach archery skillz to kids at some outdoor shows.
Yes it is but, to me what is even more impressive is the Tac15 by PSE. Xbow upper and AR-15 lower. 400+fps. Pretty Nasty.
