Trying to shorten my research. Mainly hunting Elk. I am a lefty shooting a Matthews Switchback LD. Spott Hogg seems to have a nice line?? Fire away.....
I would second that. If you are looking for a less expensive option...Trophy Ridge makes a very good sight for less money.
Lots of great options out there for today's hunter. I've been using the Axcel line of sights for three years now and have been very happy. However, I did give some serious look to some of the new sights form Truglo, Apex Gear and Black Gold amongst others.
I'm still a big fan of Montana Black Gold as well as Copper John. Both companies make rock solid sights that are backed by incredible customer service.
switched from a Black Gold Flashpoint HD to the SpotHogg Hunter a few weeks ago and would have to say I wish a bow could have two sights so I would have a reason to get another. The adjustability is amazing - so precise and easy. LOVE it!
Axcel Amortech here too. Switched from a Spot Hogg when my son took it off my bow and put on his, though. I have a bias towards both. Thing I like about the Amortech is ease of pin adjustment and how tough the sight is.
Thanks for all the input. Looking hard at the Axcel Armortech HD Pro. Any thoughts on the Trijicon Accupin and AccuDial combo?
I think 1 of the most overlooked and under rated sights out there id the the Trophy Ridge V series. Light weight, durable and the field of view with the vertical pins is amazing.
The highest quality pins you are going to get will be electronics..... Trijicon BW50G-BL: AccuPin Green Triangle w/AccuDial Right Hand $416 Tactical Archery Systems - SABO sight $129.99 The TAS is what I'm switching to for next season. I'll be 50 eyesight isn't what it use to be and the red dot system will be a step up for me.
