Bear Magnum Kodiak 4 sale: PIC's added I have no clue what this bow is worth! It was given to me along with 2 boxes of wooden aarrows. On the box the shipping tag reads: Herter's and is dated 1966/67? Pull weight is 52# I have never/used fired a bow. I took this bow to Full Draw Archery here in Omaha and was told it is in very good condition and can be used. I bought a new string and a string-thing to help string the bow. They also let me shoot a few arrows in the indoor range. I do most things left handed but this bow pulls the string w/the right hand. The targets were 2 on top, 1 in the middle, 2 below. I aimed -both eyes opened- at the 8 oclock target and hit the 5 oclock target with each shot. 4 bulls and 1 flyer. Target was not far away I'd guess 6-9 yrds away. At 65 I just don't think I have time to become hunting proficient with a bow. THus selling this seems to be the best option. I am clueless about a value so I hope a prospective buyer will be upfront with a fair market value. I have a number of pix's I can send but will need a return path via email I am: beltlloop at yahoo dot com Thanks.. mike sr.

Interested, been wanting to get an old recurve for a while, but also clueless on actual value. I'll pm you my email, please send me what pics you have and we can go from there. If anyone can give us a starting point $ wise, I'm sure it would be appreciated.
I've got a Kodiak and a grizzley., looks like 250$ would be a good starting price for a good to excelent condition bow that's shootable...obviously you may get more if put up on bids. I wouldn't sell mine for that - sentimental value and all , and I might start hunting with em again.
