Update: My Buck is mounted !!!!!!! i call the taxidermist who apparently worked with my dad for 10years before he retired mounted my buck as a gift to my dad for the years of freindship early! His son told me july. He said i can pick up for xmas needs to dry a few more days ans he needs to do final touch ups!!!! So its coming in 2 weeks and ill have a score then!
Morning Guys! Missed a big buck on Sunday. Let buck fever get to me alittle bit. This was the biggest buck I have ever seen on the property. I shot over his back at 30 yards. Hope to get back out and hunt on Thursday and Friday and possibly Saturday.
Aw man, thats tough. I hope you get another shot at him! Hang in there! I'll be taking thurs and fri off to go out hunting too. I dont know if you saw it but Field and Stream is saying weds (tomorrow) is a day you dont want to miss. I guess its one of the last "excellent" forecasted hunting days left of the year!

Good Morning Team. I put another 50 pts on the with a fergie clause deer. 6pt deer he was 4 yrs old says the jaw bone. He weighed in at 215 lbs dressed. This will keep my family fed this winter.
Made it out for afternoon/evening sits both Sat and Sun night... Didn't see a deer either time.... Late season hunting in my area is tough but figured I would give it a chance... Would love to put down a doe but season is starting to wind down - starting to run out of time....
Guys season is winding down we are currently 300 6/8 pts out of the lead. I know we have 2 Bucks to be scored. If we could get a couple late season management does on the books we actually might have a chance. Hope every one has a great Holiday Season and a safe season.

Wow dude! Im jealous! I got one up here in MA, but thats gotta count for atleast 5 anywhere else. Next year I'll be hunting CT also, their bow season opens 4 weeks sooner and they have a larger herd. PLUS I'll get 4 tags to use on anything rather than just 2 antlered tags and the chance for an antlerless tag after application... ]
