It's a go for 1/7-1/10/2012 muzzleloader season hunt. Looking for any input for this area - ANY help would be greatly appreciated?... Thank you in advance for your time.
I have hunted that area. If you go about 14 miles north of Marietta there is a track of the Wayne across the river from St. Marys West Virginia. It is a horse riding area which tends to keep many hunters out of it. Have had good luck there and have seen and taken nice bucks there.park in the lot walk the trail for about a half mile turn right and walk up the hill. There is a saddle there that deer use to cross. when i was at hocking college, i hunted around nelsonville in the wayne. Tons of deer, and big ones too. I'd give anything to land a job in SE ohio, just so i could hunt there again.
