Was heading to farm and darn waterpump went out on truck...................limped it home. No hunt tonight, got to replace it so I can hunt tomm. Stupid truck.............time for a new one) 1998 f150 4X4 no rust. I hate to get rid of "Big red" but problems starting to creep up. Any suggestions on a new truck? F150, Ram, Dakota, Chevy 1500?

Driving in to work at 4:30 a.m. and saw some legs on the other side of the road. Adjusted my eyes and it was a doe. I moved over a little bit to get a better look and there were 15 deer and one was a huge buck. The property is for sale if anybody is interested. Unfortunately it's in the city and is a few million.

Good luck this weekend guys. I'm taking the new rifle out and see if any yotes are running around. Might try it on a doe.

    Clint,

There will be a few of these coming to town. We better watch out. We better not shout. We better not cry...

And whatever you do, DO NOT SHOOT THEM!

I'm on the road to Arizona tomorrow.

Isaiah, call me when you hit Denver. I will make arrangements for the wife and kids to meet you! 303-434-2052

Colby, are you ready for another road trip? Yotes in January...over a weekend? My place or yours? I'd love to show you the Buena Vista house.

    Rock,

Without pics, it don't mean a thing...

845+130=975. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, isn't 975 less than 1074? Who's feeling the knife? Use that spoon and keep digging amigo.

Knock one dead Dave! Show the second and third placers over on 27 & 28 who rules this joint! I'm still in love with my F150-it has a history which would be tough to beat. stick with a Ford, buddy.

Rock, if we ever get too old to hunt, we will gladly let you fellas spoon feed us, But as it is, you boys will just need to keep shoveling the do we leave in our wake. When you're on top. it's nice to know do-do rolls downhill. Try as they might, the competition merely slips messily downward, LOL...

I'll be in touch from Arizona.

I got blanked today too, I saw 4 does as I pulled into the property but nothing from the stand. About 4 inches of snow on the ground, thinking the travel pattern has changed.

I pushed through the 14 hour drive from Denver to Scottsdale safely. I'm sitting here enjoying a cuppa and watching the sun come up over a lake on the golf course. Geese and coots are swimming merrily along. I have one crew member whom I'm waiting on before I begin my day. He's a younger lad and needs more beauty sleep than I. As soon as he wakes, we'll get after it.

Dave, it's quite warm here, compared to where I've left. As I watch the palm tree gently swaying in the breeze, I cannot help but think of you sitting in your freezing treestand-or, working to relocate them. I'm envious.

Good luck out there today. 30 seconds changes a season!

My ground turned into a ghost town this weekend. I probably won't get out this week at all, lots of family stuff going. If it works out I plan on taking a couple days off between Christmas and New Year, hopefully I can get out a couple times that week.
