Just got back home from the big city this morning. We're scheduled to head out tomorrow night on a trawler to hunt deer down the west side of the island. It's not the greatest spot and the weather is warming up a lot so my hopes aren't exactly soaring right now but I'll give it my best. If nothing else I'll have plenty of cool pics to share when I get back.

It is shotgun season here in Iowa. 2nd season starts Saturday and I am going to enjoy hunting with friends and family. Then it is back to bow hunting from December 19th till January 10th!

That nasty one with the big brows is a buck I had on camera last year, that I thought had completely disappeared until he showed up last two weeks ago. Now Ive got motivation to get back out there. Doe only season ending tonight then it's game on!
Im still at it. Shotgun season ends on Sunday then I will have my bow back in my hand. Its been too long! lol.
Well my season had a lot of potential this year, but nothing really gave me much of a chance. If nothing changes soon, I'll be taking a second doe with my MN tag for meat. This is finals week, and after that I'll hunt my late season plots hard for a week.

I bounced one off a limb yesterday and shaved some major belly hair off a Doe! Bet she had a cold spot down there this morn Going to try again hopefully Christmas evening! you guys still alive??
