I plan on getting a Z7 Extreme for Christmas.. So I figured I would use my bow Im currently using for bowfishing! I was just wondering roughly how much it would cost to get a "ready to bowfish" bow.. Once again I already have the bow.

It just depends on how much you want to spend. There are several options for reels,(advice from a guy who has more money into the sport than should be allowed by law), STAY AWAY from Zebco bowfishing reels. If you want a spinner setup look into the muzzy kit, or a synergy Ti-20 reel. Or if you want a retriever Id get the AMS Pro The muzzy kit and the Ams kit are both around 100 bucks. Both come with a reel, line, 2 arrows with the AMS kit and one in the muzzy kit and a rest. Or go register at bowfishingcountry.com and search the classifieds there. usually find some sweet deals there.

Love my AMS retriever Pro! Innerloc head is my favorite head and the AMS Wave rest is a great economical rest, IMO.

Taken tons of carp sucker and far with my setup using a Rival Pro.

For me compound bow designed for bowfishing works best.
