Hi I just joined this website looking for answers that noone else can seem to give me. I was wondering if anyone knows how to get these deer around during the day time. And this is only a few of them.

Have you tried asking them? If not, I would ask them if they could come around in the day time. Preferably, by your stand. The worst thing that could happen is they say no. Its like when I ask my wife is she wants to, you know, sometimes she says no. So what.

I would sneak into their bedroom and change their alarm clocks.

Your are where they like to be ... I believe the bucks have started seeking now so I am betting you will get yourself an opportunity if you hunt the wind right and know where they bed and eat and put yourself in an are that will funnel them in ... remember' you cannot kill a deer sitting on the couch ...

Sit in the stand all night and put your scent out there so then they decide its safer during the day! That ought to do it!

When you find a forum that tells you how to get nocturnal deer to come past your stand during the day, let us know the address!

Aside from all of the wonderful responses so far - there's not much you can do to force or coax deer to move during daylight hours. Your best bet is going to be to wait until the rut kicks in and they'll start showing up during daylight on their own. When that happens, get in your stand and wait it out. That's probably the best advice I can give.

Just leave them a note. Let them know what time you'll be there so they can meet you and you won't have to wait so long.

SB has obviously hunted in northern MI.

Meeting at the same time appears to be the issue, correct? You're there during the day, the deer are not. They are there during the night, you're at home. Have you looked at video conferencing? This works great if meeting in person is an issue due to conflicting schedules.

Brought you by our friends at gotomeeting.com.

    Hey, thats a real site!

If you bring some gas and a match with you first thing in the morning light a small fire in their bed, then wait in your stand. Chances are when they go to bed in their favorite spot it will be at full blaze. I've heard rumors that deer don't like fire and will not bed down in it. so your odds of these deer moving back towards you stand will greatly improve. Make sure your up wind of the fire, because the deer can smell smoke.
