I want to turn down the poundage on my Bow madness XS so i can hold at full draw for a longer amount of time. I have it turned down quite a bit already to the point where I can see alot of threading on the adjusting bolts So im not sure its a good idea to turn it down more, my question is how do I know when to stop turning it down?

you have to know the minimum poundage for example if you limbs are 40-60 lbs then you cant go past 40 you need a scale to see what poundage it's on now and it that much of the thread is showing I wouldn't turn it down much more

Another thing to consider is that if you turn it down too far the bow's performance is going to suffer as the limbs and limb pockets come out of alignment. Definitely keep it at or above the factory minimum.

agreed. If you can't lower it anymore, then I would suggest lifting a couple of times a week if you have access to weights or a gym. Lat flys, dumbbell presses, all shoulder and upper body exercises help your strength for drawing

Go shoot it more and hold for a few more seconds on each shot.

Start a push up routine. I was thinking about turning mine down but after hitting the pushup for a few weeks now I'm thinking I could turn it up.

    Onehundredpushup.com. Great place to start.

You do not want to back the limbs out more then 4 full turns. It is very unsafe to back out anymore than this. Each rotation is 2.5 pounds. Make sure you back each limb out evenly also. I am a bow tech, and I deal with PSE bows all the time.
