I will be going out tomorrow as it is supposed to be 43 degrees for the low. I have to agree Nebraska has been
very slow where I am at also here in Plattsmouth. I see them all over at night everywhere I go I see packs of
them running around like they own the school yard but during the day..........."nothing".

Hope things start to turn around....

Have not seen any deer in the fields across from my house since the season started. We have been having some very warm weather which doesn't help. Cold front coming in this weekend, hope it helps. Took first two weeks off in November. I plan on hitting it hard every day. They have not started to pull any crops off of the fields. This normally gets them moving and I assume it will start soon. Some are ready but a lot didn't get planted until late due to a very wet spring. Crossing my fingers and waiting for things to break. Good luck to all we still have plenty of time. Besides if you get one right away then your season will be done. All the preperation and its OVER for another year. I will wait and enjoy everyday I am out until I bag one.

No more hunting from a blind!! Just picked up my first tree stand and will be getting it out to a great spot within the next few
days. It will be nice not having to lug the blind in every time I go out and make so much noise setting everything up.
The temps are dropping so Mon and Tues I will be spending some time in the stand. (nice to finally be able to say that)

    Good luck to all.

Ok so I went out again this morning and had a little fork horn come right in to range.
I did manage to video him for a few seconds on my phone.
I will try to upload it and give you guys the link later

    Hey Team,
Just checking in. I've only had a chance to get out once so far this season and saw nada. Its just been too hot. Hopefully this will improve once the temps start falling. I plan on getting out one afternoon this week.

No luck this morning. Starting to see a lot of scrapes though. More than expected I have to admit. I'll be heading out again this afternoon to give it another go. Good luck to whoever's out there.
